Violet Dennison was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in the USA in 1989. She gained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011 at the New York University followed by a postgraduate course at Bard College in New York where she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in 2018. Her works have featured in international exhibitions since 2014, most recently at the Moscow International Biennale for Young Art (2018), the Triennial: Songs for Sabotage at the New Museum, New York (2018) and the solo exhibition Transcend with Jan Kaps, Cologne (2017). Violet Dennison lives and works in New York.
