Cédric Eisenring was born in Basel, Switzerland, in 1983. From 2007, he studied art and photography at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) where he completed his Bachelor of Arts in 2009 and Master of Fine Arts in 2014. He was awarded the Swiss Art Award in 2017 and is winner of the Aarau Manor Art Award 2018. His works have been featured in international solo and group exhibitions, most recently including in Schlupfkluft (with Thomas Sauter), Taylor Macklin, Zürich (2016). Cédric Eisenring has been running the Bleach Books publishing house with Luca Beer and Carmen Tobler since 2013. The company has already released six publications and an ongoing collection of children’s books. The artist lives and works in Zurich.
