MARTIN STEINTHALER was born in Klagenfurt in 1966. He studied architecture at the Graz University of Technology where he also worked later as a lecturer of visualisation in architecture. Martin Steinthaler has been working as a self-employed architect since completing his studies in 1994. During his studies, he specialised in photography, starting out with architectural photography for various Austrian architecture offices. Since 1997, he has shifted his focus increasingly to digital photography. His specialist field has also expanded since 2004 to include fashion, advertising, food and business photography as well as architecture and today he has achieved international success with his work.
