Stefanie Seufert was born in Göttingen in 1969. From 1998 until 2001, she completed her training at the Lette Verein Berlin, before studying photography at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2001 until 2003. She has won several awards and prizes, for instance the research grant for visual arts of the Senate Administration for Culture and Europe Berlin and the “Neustart Kultur” working scholarship of the Stiftung Kunstfonds in Bonn in 2022. In 2013, Stefanie Seufert taught creative performance at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. From 2015 until 2019, she taught classes at the University of Delaware in Newark, USA. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Germany and beyond, for instance at the Berlinische Galerie, the Kunsthalle Darmstadt and the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf, and may be found in public and private collections. She lives and works in Berlin.
