Suse Krawagna was born in Klagenfurt in 1964. From 1983 until 1988, she studied with Arnulf Rainer at the Academy of Fine Arts and attended the Royal College of Art in London from 1988 until 1990. She has won numerous awards, for instance the Anton Faistauer Prize for Painting awarded by the Province of Salzburg, the Strabag Art Arward in 2000, and the City of Vienna Prize for Fine Arts in 2015. Her works have been shown in solo and group exhibitions both in Austria and internationally and are represented in private and public collections.
