Vincent Tavenne was born in Montbéliard (F) in 1961. From 1983 to 1985, he studied under Ulrich Rückriem at the Arts Academy of the City of Düsseldorf. In 1987, he was awarded a scholarship by the Deutsch-Französisches Jugendwerk organisation. In 1998, he received the Piepenbrock Young Talent Award for Sculpture and was winner of the Villa Romana (Florence 1999). His works are on display in national and international solo and group exhibitions. Vincent Tavenne lives and works in Berlin and Migné (F).
