Evan Roth was born in 1978 in Okemos, Michigan, USA. He is a co-founder of the Free Art and Technology Lab (F.A.T. Lab), an internet-based art and technology collective working on the interface between open source hacking and popular culture. In 2012 he received the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award. Most recently his work has been shown at the “Electronic Superhighway” exhibition in the Whitechapel Gallery in London (2016) and the “Internet Landscapes: Sydney” exhibition at the Biennale of Sydney in 2016. Evan Roth lives and works in Paris.
