Olgh Olgh Cornelia Baltes, Olgh, 2019
, Acrylics on canvas, 210 x 150 cm
Kollitsch collection

Based on a combination of abstraction and figuration, the artist succeeds in transferring observations and perceptions from reality into a refreshing and whimsical form with subtle visual wit. Her motives are expressed in heavily reduced imagery and powerful colour fields and often deviate from the limited picture format with a playful expansion of the boundaries of the genre.
