Jürgen Münzer’s oeuvre includes sculpture, computer designs, drawings and interdisciplinary projects. In his ongoing series of digital collages, he reflects politically charged image content, referring to scanned images of landscapes from books as well as topical images from the Internet, all of which are turned into thematic signposts in the collage. Ein Tag am Meer (2020) first gives rise to associations of languor and light-heartedness, but also showcases the omnipresent attitude of western society, resting on the inflatable mattress of prosperity while impassively gazing at the sky.
