Sandi Červek's form of artistic expression is abstract and independent of any objectivism. Since 1989, his paintings have been devoted to the colour black, which he puts into a effective setting with monochrome oils on relief-like surfaces. His exploration of the intensity of this colour is also expressed in his later works, in which he uses nylon tights in various textures and stretches and layers them in different ways.
